Even though the film is a little over 7 months away, the first teaser trailer has hit the web unexpectedly, Spectre is the sequel to the highly successfully previous James Bond film 2012’s Skyfall, which I contend was one of the best films of 2012 and the best Bond film we’ve had yet.
The trailer is as cryptic as the plot details, although rumors have circulating that the script was a real mess that needed cleaning up, whether or not those needs were met we will just have to wait and see when the movie comes out.
The plot synopsis is as follows:
“In the aftermath of the bombing of MI6 by Raoul Silva, a cryptic message sets in motion events that will see James Bond come face-to-face with a sinister organisation known as SPECTRE. As M continues fighting political pressures that threaten the future of MI6, Bond is drawn into a confrontation with an enemy who knows him better than he knows himself and holds a dangerous secret that will force Bond to question the value of everything he has fought to protect.”
The trailer reminds me of the teaser for Skyfall, very dark and gloomy tone with erry lines of dialouge and like the Skyfall teaser trailer you get the feeling that the weight of the world or at least MI6 and Londan rest on James Bond’s shoulders.
Spectre will hit theater November 6 and stars Daniel Craig returning as Bond, Ralph Finnes as M, Naomi Harris as Eve Moneypenny and Christoph Waltz as the main villain Franz Oberhauser.
