Beloved Star Trek Actor Leonard Nimoy Dies At 83

Rest in Peace Leonard Simon Nimoy.

Early morning on February 27, 2015 Leonoard Nimoy better know to world as Spock from the groundbreaking 1960s television show Star Trek, passed away. Having already appeared in over nearly a dozen Star Trek films and Nimoy made the character of Spock a culture icon recognized around the world.

Nimoy who started out as a child actor grew to prominence after starring in Star Trek and making various appearances in tv shows like Gun smoke, and a celebrated voice role in Transformers: The Movie, he also directed the fan celebrated film Three Men and a Baby. Clearly a man with versatile talents, and he will live on in all of our lives for decades more to come.
